3D In-Line Inspection Solution

Increasing demands for product quality and, as a result, high-quality adhesive bonds are becoming ever more important in the automotive industry. With RTVision.3d from QUISS, it is now possible not only to measure the width, position, and continuity of the bead application but also its height. This provides insights into the applied material volume. 

2D In-Line Inspection Solution

QUISS’ 2D system, RTVision.t, detects errors in bead width, position, and continuity, and presents direct feedback for immediate reactions. It can process a wide range of application patterns such as beads, stitch beads, or swirl applications. Being able to select the illumination color individually allows the system to detect any material color with the highest contrast quality.  This permits 100% visual inspection, together with a simple and fast set-up.

Increased productivity with automated bead repair

For all systems in the RTVision solution family, there is an automated bead repair function available. During the application, the adhesive bead is precisely measured and any gaps are reported to the application or robot control system. In a second run, these gaps are closed – precisely, with no overlapping and unwanted extra application.
